South Staffs Society of Recorder
Players
The South Staffordshire branch of the SRP meets once a month from 2.30pm until 5.00pm on the second Saturday of the month. Meetings are held at Haling Dene Centre, Penkridge, nr. Stafford. New members and visitors are always welcome. Area map.
Meetings are for anyone who can read music and play at least one size of recorder. You don't have to worry about holding a part on your own or playing solos. We don't cater for absolute beginners, but can put you in touch with experienced teachers. The meetings are an ideal way to make contact with other players in the area. Age is no barrier - we have members from eight to eighty!
Forthcoming meetings will be on April 4th, May 9th (Pastoral Visit from Caroline Jones), June 13th, July 11th, August 8th (venue to be confirmed), September 12th, October 10th, November 14th (provisional), December 12th (provisional).
